Rainmaker Publishing LLC specializes in sports and outdoor recreation books, and we are looking for authors who are solid writers and have a passion for their sport. Whether it’s a guidebook, biography, adventure series, etc. we welcome your ideas. We accept unsolicited manuscripts and authors do not need representation. If you are interested in submitting a manuscript, we invite you to review our submission guidelines below.

1. A cover letter that includes:

- A brief description of the book and its audience
- Autobiographical information
- A list of published works
- Author contact information including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address

| 2. The entire manuscript submitted as hardcopy in standard format: double spaced, one side, 1 1⁄2 inch margins on all four sides. Title, author name, and page number must be at the top of each page. If the manuscript is not readable due to typeface choice/size or poor reproduction, it will not be read. Please do not send original manuscripts. Upon acceptance, author will be asked to submit the manuscript on a CD or via an email attachment. |
- If you would like your manuscript returned, include a self-addressed stamped envelope (U.S. postage only) large enough for the manuscript. Rainmaker is not responsible for returning manuscripts without sufficient packaging and postage.
- To receive manuscript receipt verification, include a self-addressed stamped envelope (U.S. postage only) with your submission. We do not accept International Response Coupons, however, we will respond to an email inquiry.
- Consideration time for a manuscript is approximately two months.
